Tecnovideo and Fogsphere announce collaboration
Tecnovideo S.r.l., an Italian specialist in stainless-steel video surveillance systems for hazardous and critical environments, and Fogsphere, a provider of edge-first, agentic AI for industrial safety, security, and operational intelligence, today announced a strategic collaboration to deploy interoperable solutions that enable Fogsphere to ingest and analyze live video streams from Tecnovideo's explosion-proof cameras.
Tecnovideo's PTZ and fixed camera series are certified ATEX, IECEx, UKCA, INMETRO, ECAS EX and Class I/II/III, Division 1, built for most harsh and hazardous environments, and for onshore and offshore installations.
Through this collaboration, customers in oil and gas, chemicals, energy, and other industrial sectors will be able to combine certified explosion-proof imaging systems with real-time AI that helps teams perceive risks, reason over events, and trigger faster actions across complex operating environments.
The collaboration is focused on enabling Fogsphere to securely ingest video streams from Tecnovideo cameras and apply real-time perception, reasoning, and actions for safety, security, and operational intelligence applications. Fogsphere's AI platform operates on compatible edge infrastructure and is not embedded within the camera itself.
