Description

EXJBe is a versatile AISI316L stainless steel Ex e Increased Safety ATEX/IECEX junction box for use in Zone 1/21 hazardous areas. Its accessories and dimensions (280x280x160mm) are specifically designed for CCTV systems and according the latest standards.
The advantage of using less expensive Increased Safety junction boxes is guaranteed by all Tecnovideo explosion proof camera stations, that integrate electronic active devices such as Power Supply Units and Fiber Media Converters into camera stations themselves. This solution is normally preferred by system designers compared to the expensive Ex d Flameproof junction boxes.
The internal accessories cover any need such as power, signals and even fiber connections thanks to certified terminals mounted on a DIN rail.
The inspection door is hinged and does not fall to ground, it safely closes by means of stainless steel screws. Multiple pass-through bottom holes allow cable glands and cables of various dimensions, for the maximum adaptability to the customer installation.
